1-13-2015

LC

28kg

1',2',3',2',1' rest = to previous work interval

7/ 7,7/ 7,7,6/ 7,6/ 7

Was dreading it, planned poorly for the day. But, it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked on paper. Learned some things about saving my grip that I can apply moving forward.

1/31/15

Cleans

30kg / 40reps / 5'

Not too bad, was told I didn't even look tired when I set the bells down. The cardio is differnt with these, I experienced more overall fatigue than lung burn.

100 squats @ 40kg

Just going up to the 24s is different for me. My ribs get sore from the combination of BJJ and the drop and I don't suffer any more cardio wise I feel beat up after an especially hard set with the 24s.

Yeah, I was told the sport changes as the weight get heavier. Almost to the sort that it's a different sport all together.

2/3/2015

LC

30kg/ 4' / 24reps

OAClean

32kg 30/30

single arm cleans were harder than the longcycle. Something changes in my tech, gotta figure out what.

Random jerk undulating thing for cardio, all sets done for 1' with one minute rest. I was focus on getting what I call my 2011 jerk technique back.

30kg - 6 reps
24kg - 8 reps
20kg - 10 reps
16kg - 12 reps
20kg - 12 reps
24kg - 10 reps
30kg - 6 reps
24kg - 10 reps
20kg - 12 reps
16kg - 16 reps

Snatch 6' w/ 16kg @ 12 rpm

Looking back this was more of a therapy session.

I've noticed the same. My whole game plan changes when it comes to the 32s because of how my body seems to react to the training compared to the lighter bells.

2/6/15

LC

32kg/5/1'
32kg/10/2'
32kg/15/3'

32kg single clean 35/35

32kg squat - 80 reps in 3:15

felt good leaving the gym, felt wrecked when I got home. It's a different kind of fatigue/tired.

LC

30kg/37/6'29" the goal was to make 7', but I missed a jerk and couldn't save it back to the rack. It's on FB and IG if you care.

2/13/1t

LC

32kg/ 20 / 4'

Felt good, a little off balance on a few but not too bad. As long as I can stay calm I think I can do ok.

32/ 15 / 3'
32/ 15/ 3'
32/ 15/ 3'

Had to cut the session short due to my lip swelling up. I smash my face the day before and bite a hole through it, just happy I got through as much as I di.
