I think I saw in Gin Master's log that he was just blessed.

What's the expected recovery time?

i can head home about an hour to hour and a half after surgery is over.

considerable pain and icing of groinal area follows for 4-6 days. walking is possible. easy running after 2 weeks. lift nothing heavier than 10 pounds for 6-8 weeks. recovery is full, eventually

this according to a 2-min conversation with the surgeon.

i'm surprised how many people i have run into recently who have had the surgery.

I read up on it, something like a 27% likelihood in males. That's ridiculous.

Can you drink booze after the surgery?

i asked my urologist, a pt at the gym where i go, and my chiro about hernias. all three said they had had one. it's like an epidemic.

don't know about drinking.

I just had a FF buddy get the surgery. Said it sucks but he is back to the "running" portion of his recovery. Kinda crazy. I had no idea that it was that common.
