PAJAMA WRASSLIN'

- Learned and drilled a sequence tonight: Bull Pass -> Side Control -> Take control of the arm -> Trap the arm and wrap their head up with it -> Apply head pressure and mount -> Finish with Kata Gatame

That was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot more about head pressure during those drills. And also having an opportunity to practice my Bull Pass is always good, too. Also, this sequence helped me get the hang of flowing from one technique to the other smoothly while keeping the pressure on, instead of going from one technique to the other like 'A,' okay then 'B,' alright, then 'C' and so on. Make it all happen more smoothly.

I was actually able to make that sequence work great rolling live tonight, too.

Great class tonight.

JIU JITSU

... We just rolled tonight. It was awesome. My timing is getting better, I'm turning-in to the opponent at the right time and retaining my guard a lot better. Also, Big Chris says I'm feeling stronger from the top as well. This is good, also. Been a rough week, finishing up at work in preparation of my last day (tomorrow), and I was tired today. Went anyway, and left there feeling better. It was a good evening.
