Time to log again.

Been doing bodyweight stuff and trail running mixed with hiking for about 8 to 10 weeks; before that just messing about mostly with barbell stuff with no real goals. To be honest the marathon shit from last year was a terrible idea and fucked me up physically and mentally for exercising. I didn't stop but I have been goalless for a while now.

Feeling weak need the barbell.

Idea is:
Workout A:
Front squat 3 x 8
OH press 3 x 8
Wtd pullup 3 x 8
15 minutes or less steady state work (like run a mile, row a 2K)

Workout B:
Deadlift 3 x 8
Wtd dip 3 x 8
BB row 3 x 8
same steady state as above

2 days a week of longer run or hike

Goals are maintain strength and lose some pounds for better blood pressure purposes.

Comments from others welcome.

OH DB pres 3 x 8 x 25s
Wtd. Pullup 3 x 8 x 10

Did it triset style, way too light. Just getting the groove back it will get to be too heavy soon enought.

Rowed 2K; just over 9 minutes

10 minutes on step mill climbed 42 floors

Today:
2.25 miles (mostly singletrack) 28:and change

2k row around 9 minutes

Still baby weights, going to ramp up slowly

Broke down to 4 sets of 6, mostly because of the squats. Front rack was the problem, just couldn't hold the weight for more than 6.

Row 2K.
