Going to start this off early this year.

Pull-ups throughout the day; 5 sets of 10.

2 mile run in 20 degree weather this evening. I fucking hate running in sweats. I broke down and bought a couple pair of sweat pants when I was in Denver during a bad cold snap. Running in -10 degree weather is not recommended for the faint of heart or to be attempted in shorts.

Still deciding on my plans for 2014.

Saturdays log

Pull ups about 45-55 wasn't paying attention. sets ranging from 8-15 reps

3 mile run in the rain. Fucking neighbor told me I should get a treadmill. My wife is on good terms with his wife so I suppressed the urge to tell the yuppie candy ass to go fuck himself.

Next year I foresee some swimming in my future. In general here is my cardio line up for 2014:

Monday- Run 3-5 miles
Tuesday-Swim 700-1000 meters
Wednesday-Ruck 6-8 miles
Thursday-Swim 1 mile
Friday-Run 1.5-2 miles

Deciding weather to start lifting again after close to a three year layoff. I may start off with KBs and then eventually move over to Bar bell stuff if I'm feeling it. Body weight stuff to remain.

Plus, I'm returning to evening grappling in 2014 in January

2 mile run at lunch.

Follow by 50 pull ups 5 sets of 10 reps.
then 200 push ups.

Tomorrow is going to be tough; I'm going to fast in preparation for Christmas. This will be liquid fast of only 1,000 calories. 2 Large coffees with heavy cream and 3 protein shakes with almonds milk.

Yesterday was an after Christmas workout.

3 mile run- this sucked. I felt like mead was just oozing from my pores. It also didn't help I ate everything in site on Christmas day. Well worth it though.

Pull ups- 10 sets of 5 reps. I was feeling very heavy after my Christmas meal; 10 pound gain in 24 hrs.

Push ups- 4 sets of 25 done for speed.

Late morning: 50 pull ups 10 sets of 5 reps and sets of 100 push ups.

Lunch: 1 mile swim- maximum suckatude. Motherfucking swim kicked my ass. Probably shouldn't have done pull ups and push ups just before swim. Lats and delts are fucking aching.

I never really left the combat arts, I just chose to concentrate on only one particular facet for a while; the art of the rifle and side arm. They will remain remain my focus, but it's time to get back into grappling.

I was going to join the grappling club Johno belongs to, but I'm not diggin th idea of driving. It's not far. It's that after years of commuting, I now work from home. I'm really diggin the freedom. So any drive longer than 5 miles doesn't really interest me.

Double KB Military Press: 5X5 1.5 pood

I can understand the hate of driving. I used to drive 80 miles one way to work but after a year and half of working 7 miles from the house the thought of that long drive makes me nauseous.

I was sick last week, but still soldiered on. Nothing new just more of the same: running, swimming, pull ups, push ups and dead lifts.

This morning it pulls ups 5 x 10

Followed by 900 meters of swimming at lunch.

Followed by 100 push ups be fore dinner.
