Notes: Finally back in the gym following a work related layoff that saw some 60+ hour weeks. Did this mostly as a test to see where I'm at and it's really not bad. Actually gained a little in the press. Haven't ever really done much with the TBDL so fairly pleased with how it went, maybe could've gone a little higher but didn't feel like really pushing it. On vacation next week so this gives me a good starting point when I get back.

Notes: Missed lifting yesterday due to work issues so just did a bit of running to get back into a groove and leave me good for lifting tomorrow. Speed was all over the place but it felt good. Still had some gas in the tank after, so did some random stuff with no particular aim. Probably just do some calisthenics or heavy bag work next time if I'm feeling the need to do something.

Notes: After what's felt like an interminable layoff due to work and a variety of other external influences I finally made it back into the gym. Kept it light on the bench and squat so I don't overdo it and have another layoff. Chins have clearly fallen off and I guarantee its the bad weight I've put on in the off period. Going to tighten up the diet a bit and slowly work some conditioning back in.

Kept rest down to just however long it took me to change weights and then try to be as explosive as possible with each rep. Wore my slightly deconditioned self out, but felt good. Notes: came across my old ruck, so decided to start doing that rucking Strempf Villain challenge for conditioning. Kept it around a 15 min per mile pace. Wasn't all that bad really so I'll probably start the add a mile per week progression as suggested in the challenge.

Notes: First real activity in weeks. New job finds me frequently working 10+ hours 5 days a week, so having to adjust how I typically approach training time. Right now just doing things I know I can hit at home and take no more than 30 minutes or so to do. Will also be working in some running and body weight stuff to round out the KB work.
