Post your training journals here if you like. I'll make back-ups to avoid losing your data.

10.28 (74) 33 min of moderate cardio

Did some moderate effort cardio the past three days, between 20-33 minutes. Back to weights tomorrow.
Phase One, OPERATION SLOW COOK has been successful, mostly subjectively speaking. But some highlights over the past two months have been:
-about a dozen bike rides ranging from 20-64 miles (with essentially zero riding experience prior to this over the past 20+ years)
-faster paced workouts
-slight increase in flexibility & mobility; slight reduction in joint pain
-strong improvement in recovery time
-decent weight loss
-a definite improvement of fit of clothes
-perhaps most notably (and surprisingly), a ton of compliments from friends and acquaintances, both those who see me near daily and from those who rarely see me these days--which likely means I haven't been quite as dashing as the fellow I've been seeing in the mirror.
Phase Two commences tomorrow, weights will remain light but I will start tracking pounds lifted again along with my homegrown RPE scale.
Stay tuned!

11.7

Workout update: been babying either a deep muscle pull or some sort of odd lower GI funk, but have been doing cardio daily, to include *gasp* light jogging with well-wrapped knees and Amosov Squats between laps on the indoor track. Have done the slow cook benches and pull-ups, too. Phase Two of OPERATION SLOW COOK will (re)commence in the coming days.
