But nobody actually wants to train like a HS wrestler
I have been think about starting a new log for a few weeks, so here I am.
9/27/14
came out and threw in a masters. It was the first games I threw in two years. My throws were down but that was ok. I stared back throwing for other reasons. The highlight as far as my throwing went was, my body has changed a lot over the last 2 years with wrestling and less time squating and dling. My kilt is very big on me and has a flap where the velcrow stops any way I hit that flap during the heavy weight for distance and it came off.
Saturday was a big day for me. I had a bunch going on with the women I train with. One of them has been training for barbells for boobs. She wanted to do it for a challenge. It is 95lbs clean and jerk for 30 reps as fast as you can get them. She is 115 and when we started 4 months ago we did a test it took her over 30minutes. she did it just over 6 on saturday. Then there are my two throwing girls (one of them is my sister) they are the ones that have dragged me back into the games. They did great. From what I saw they looked great! The best thing for me is that I got a bunch of people telling me how strong they were and how good their throws were for their fist games. My sister was easy the other girl was a lot of work. I am so so proud of that girl! I had a great day. I start back to wrestling this week I can not wait.

jumped into wrestling live from the get go. there was some guys visting I matched up with the heavy weight. I am about 200lbs he was 275. it was super fun he was trying so hard to throw me but he did not get i was blocking him with my head. I was shooting on him for fun and he was just crushing me down. I get bored of just hand fighting heavy weight type wrestling. I stayed after and wrestled two of the guys I wrestled with before. One is a coach now the other has a state championship in mind. It was super fun and I am glad they let me come back.

it was fun it would have been much better if I did not put ring rows in or they did not come up as much. every other roll they came up I only have one set of rings and with 6 people they killed to much time. I set the clock for 45 minutes thinking we would get around 36 to 40 in. We got more like 30 in. It was fun, for the next 6 weeks or so most of the gym workouts are going to be for fun like this.

wanted to get into the woods squirrel hunting, the weather was not great. So I went mushroom hunting instead. Saw some old chicken of the woods they were to old. it is late for them. I wanted hen of the woods, did not see any. I am ok with the chicken and hen of the woods, I worry over the some of the others. Found a big patch of puff balls I think were ok but I did not take them because I was not sure they were ok. walk about 6 miles up and down.

I have to watch what I eat or I get the gout. I went crazy last week and ate red meat every day for dinner and for lunch a few time. I had pork for breakfast on saturday. sAturday for dinner I had chicken alfredo. The cream is an on button for me and the gout, I do not even like it that much. I was just so sick of fish and plain old chicken. Anyway I have the gout. I have been drinking baking soda and cherry juice, that is working. It is a small case so -
med ball throws (all the throws were from my knees) - 40lbs 69 throws
I am hoping to be over it by tomorrow so I can wrestle

But nobody actually wants to train like a HS wrestler, including the HS wrestlers. You certainly wouldn't do it with no payoff. This is the aggravating thing about non-athletes wanting to train like athletes. They won't. They'd be weird to. Any any trainer claiming to train them that way won't have any clients, because the sane ones will quit.
I do from time to time. If I had some older training partners I would all the time. The training is hard sprints, drills, monkey rolls, live I find it fun. Keeping up with the kids is the hard part. On some of the drills and sprints I have to stay out of the way.
