I have been having some computer troubles. I Am not going to try and catch this thing up. lifting and wrestling are going good. It has been a hard year squirrel hunting. In the next week or so I am going to start wrestling 3 times a week.

wrestling

one of the kids I wrestle with won a very big tournament. 40 teams 6 states he beat a ranked state champ. The other kid I wrestle came in 3rd. I do not think I need to say this but I will, they beat the crap out of me.

As far as lifting goes, I do not have my book with me so I do not have the numbers and all that. I can not seem to get them to come to mind. here is a over view of what I have been doing for the last few weeks. My oldest nephew wanted to start to come down to get stronger for foot ball. He has been hard to set junk up for in the past, he can be a bit of a nancy ( do not tell my sister I said that). So we are going to be training partners, I will do what he does. So far he seeing me do the same thing has done the trick. My ego makes me say I do more weight. He lifts weights at school about 5 times a week. That is where he is getting his barbell junk in. he says they squat, dl and bench. the other stuff they do I do not care about. We lift 1 to 2 times a week. We have been doing a lot of heavy sled work, ghr, hypers, hand over hand pulls, zerchers, pullups, dips, something from the floor to over head and grip (just because it is fun). We do about 3 to 4 exercises a workout. I know that him lifting 6 to 7 days a week sounds like a lot but he is 16 and I am not so sure how hard he lifts at school, knowing him not hard at all.

we did a sand bag work out based off of the Loch Norman stone comp. pic it in the middle carry and put it down on one of the barrels. take it back to the middle put it down, then repeat, that is one rep. I did 25 he did about 20. As a 10th grader he is now in the top 10 totals on his team. I think he is 8.

1/19/15 with nephew
I just got a handle from play it again that looks like it was a hs shop project. It is great, put it on my tire sled and we did all kinds of pulls. It killed me.

I have not been keeping up with the bad place much.

As far as wrestling goes two of the kids I wrestle won states. They have a small team I am thinking 10 hs kids for the most part. They took 7 to states and placed 7. The kid I wrestle the most did not make states. He has been working very hard this summer and made a big jump. we will see.

I have thrown more games this year than I have in a long time. I will throw One more for sure could end up two more. I am only throwing so my sister has someone to train and travel with. I would rather be on the river.

This summer fishing has been great. Just one story to tell. I had paddled my kayak up river to one of my best spots. I wade fished for 2 hours or so. As I am fishing I get an odd feeling, so I look back over my shoulder and this dog is swimming at me. As it turned out on 2nd look it was a small bear I am thinking 90lbs about. Their is an island that splits the river it makes very good fishing at the start and the end. at the end I use the island as a block I can wade in the slow water it makes and fish the edges of slow and fast water. I started to yell at him I do not think the bear could hear me over the rush of the water. He was just swimming away. When he got to about 15' he looked up, and saw me. he went under and was pushed down river some, he turned and went back to the bank. He gave me a fuck you look and went into the woods.
