restarting a log to keep me honest. Goals are all process orientated at the moment:

1) strength train 3x a week on average each month
2) condition 3x a week
3) stretch 3x a week
4) eat veggies & protein with each meal


Doing a 531 based program....


Today:

28/12

1. meditation - 365th day on the trot without missing a sitting. Enlightenment will probably arise shortly or maybe super powers.

2. Bench - worked up to 92.5kg x 12 reps.... felt strong

3a: Ring push ups - bw x 5 sets of 8-10

3b: Ring rows - bw x 5 sets of 10-15

4a: Hammer curls - 14kg's x 10,10,8

4b: side lateral raise - 8kg's x 3 x 10

conditioning:
KB swings - 24kg x 20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2
push ups x 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10


then went in the outdoor pool with my son for an hour.

didn't have time for my preferred steady state work today.

Nice to see you back odin your log is always good to follow, congrats on the meditation progess that is some good commitment, how long do you meditate for each day? Keep up the good work!

thanks very much for the encouragement! Re the meditation, it is 40 mins most days, with some walking afterwards if Im not going to the gym. That said, over christmas 15-20 mins has been the norm....

5a: DB Split squat - 18kg each hand x 12,10,10 L/R

5b: back extensions - bw x 3 x 12

6a: ab layouts x 2 x 10

6b: russian twists x 2 x 20

6c: side plank x 2 x 20 secs

7. incline treadmill - 20 mins

02/01 - military press

1. meditation

2. defranco's limber 11

3. MP - worked up to 62.5kg x 7 reps, then 50kg x 8 reps back off set

4. chins - bw x 10,7,6,5 reps

5. CG Incline bench - 70kg x 10,8, 60kg x 8... presses took it out of my triceps, clearly

6a: EZ curls - 3 sets

6b: DB surgs - 3 sets

7. stair-master - 15 mins


feeling jaded from the festive season but pleased with the military presses.
