Took yesterday off due to work schedule and I just felt like it. So there. Appropriate self-disgust followed.

Today:
BS:290x5x3
BP:210x5x5

Decided to slow up the volume side of the house on sqwatz as I'm struggling a bit on the intensity sets. Want to maintain 10-ish percent delta and my brain is stuck at 310. Gotta get my mind right.

Volume:

BS: 295x5x5
BP: 215x5x5

Took my time with this as last week seemed like a struggle. Longer rest breaks made it dteady, but last reps on BS last few sets were grinders.

Row L1 - target 1:47/500m

4x500m.
Walk 1.5 mi, 4mph, 4 up.

Only managed four of six intervals - legs were just toast tfor whatever reason. Last interval was 1:48.4 and was a big, fat, greasy load of suck. Not sure what that was all about.

Volume Day

BS: 280x5x5
SP: 160x5x5
Rack Dips: 15/15/15

Took a 5% reset on BS volume a little later than PPST suggests, but I think my legs could use the freshener. We'll see how intensity goes this week. Felt pretty good and solid this week. Dips added for a little assistance. I think BP volume will have some push-ups (with handles) too perhaps. Keep it simple.

Volume day

BS: 325x5
SP: 175x5
DL: 355x5

Travel this week is messing up my gym time. Grr. Have to laugh that I lost my mind this morning and went for 5 on BS when I'm supposed to be doing sets of three. Went pretty smooth though. Hmm. Press was tough. Finally ate some suck on DL and finished a set of five at 355. Was feeling like a big pansy. :butthead:

Volume Day:

BS: 265x8x5
BP: 205x8/8/8/5/5
Chins: 7/7/6

A twist here by adding a higher volume approach to volume day. I am trying a little hypertrophy cycle for a bit while still pushing the intensity on Wednesdays. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Intensity killed me:

BS: 330x1. Ugh. Not recovered. Dropped to 315 and did 3/3/2
BP: 240x4; 225x3/3/3
DL: 360x3

whoosh. Increased Saturday volume made this tough methinks.
