PT
I leg crossover KB deadlifts, 90 degree strap rows and Russian Military Presses. KBs were a single 53# and a 62#. 4 sets.

3 Sets of Full Contact Twist, 25,35 and 45# on the bar end.

3 sets of Battling Ropes.

Monday

1 hour knife sparring/

Tuesday

Hard fucking in the afternoon!

Tuesday night. 8-10pm: Teach and train Ju Jutsu : Long stretching routine as I wanted to teach my son some finer points. (He;s about 5'7", 180#s and 13 and pretty weak, that's a danger to himself at his size.)

Class
Slipping an advancing jab and delivering a modification of a sweet Benny the Jet combo ( Shovel hook to the gut, Uppercut (here a palm) and a right to the face ( Here a chop to the collar bone or a palm hook to the head, depending if you went cold side or hot side on him) into throws and standing arm bars.

Worked on Sankaku jime, Triangle chokes for you practitioners of Brazilian Man Rape and getting an asshole off his mount of you, passing his guard and fucking his face up with your forehead.

10:15 - 10:40PM PT

Clean and Push Press, touch and go style ( Clean into knee dip, push press, now waiting) 53 and 62 KBs. 4 sets.

Standing Cable " Punches" and Standing cable Uchikomi ( entering for throws ) for the antagonistic pull. 3 sets.

Suspended Leg Raises 2 sets.

Stretch, Leave, Home, Eat, now can't sleep!

Try repeating tuesday afternoons pt session-that should help you sleep.

KB's in the park. 26,35,53 and 70# KBs

One Leg Crossover Dead Lifts, Russian Military Press: 4 sets. First time in a long time I've even attempted to press the 70#er, got 2 singles Left and Right with decent form. Issue with the right shoulder on negatives seems to be much better.

Windmills, Free Squats and Bent Rows: 3 sets

KB Juggling 3 sets, 26,35,35#KBs. Lug the bells back to the house and up the hill immediately after last set and then jogged the park, then walked it. chased my daughter for a cool down.

Guts, nutz and biceps tendon, none of them bothered me today, lungs did but I was expecting that the recent pollen and my de-conditioned state..

A2. RMP, See Saw Press, Double Press, See Saw press, RMP.
B1. Ground and Pound ( Renegade Rows for all former Dragon Doorks) 3 sets
B2. Goblet Squats. 3 sets.
C1. Bent Rows 1 set to failure
C2. Assisted Pistols 1 set
D1. 90degree Squat-Rows on Jungle Gym 1 set
D2. KB ball Push up plank 1 set.

The PT took about 30 minutes, then
stretch 15 minutes.

Now I can eat ham and taters, maybe drink a bottle of wine like it's blood.

Monday I stretched a little, did some random MA, nothing stressful.

Tuesday I stretched some, random MA than 1.5 hour Ju jutsu/Combatives in the backyard dojo. Using their punches to enter, stun, overwhelm and destroy.

Weds

20 minutes of Yoga on trampoline.

Taught 1 hour PT session, some value for me in the demoing.
Taught 1 hour H2H session, worked low linekicks, starait lead punches; technique, accuracy, timing, power and keeping an active defense through good structure and fundemtals on the attack/counterattack.

10 minutes of Russian Military Presses and Bent rows then 20-30 seconds rest and go again with 53#KB.

Icing the stuff that bothers me now. Hoping to make up for no dedicated cardio or direct ab work on the ol'lady's pussy later with the tried and true routine of spread eagled missionary to back breaker, bitch on top fuck ups and doggy style into backside pounddown.

yes, I have heard and have always respected that saying. now I am becoming the old fuck. I wanna be the old guy from The Wanderers, who's in his 50s but can still toss shithead teens and young adults around and box their ears. Not to mention not want to need blue pills. :-)

I like what you're doing here. I've settled on something similar with BW cals and some KBs, skipping rope, and rucking/riding/rowing. I just need to find a good mobility or yoga routine to stick to. I'll be looking into this thread for ideas.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

Friday some random Yoga and MA through out the day. 1 hour teaching H2H.

Saturday 9:45-11:15am Ju Jutsu/ Combatives class.

1-2pm 1 hour teaching H2H.

Sunday

11:05- 11:40am JEEP MULE

Hooked a tow strap and a crane strap to the jeep at the school back parking lot today.

Pulled it walking backwards. Made a half length and then a full.

Then tried to drag it with the strap across my chest, nothing doing there. Pulled it from around the shoulder a bit and then around my waste the full length. We need harness!

Pushed the jeep with my back to the spare tire, Jeep leg pressing. Walked it and would stop and do a double press with my legs, playing with it the full length.

Conan's Wheel Push; Pushed it Conan style. Sometimes standing back up strait and pressing from the chest, did this a full length.

After that we stretched out.

Light, occasional burning below left knee cap just under the skin. A bit more than during the last week or any other workout since the issue developed a week and a half ago. Iced it twice, then tiger balm. the hell out of it and my forearm and bicep, even though they were not an issue today.

Need to do some Yoga, do some things around the house and teach an hour of H2H tomorrow. Teach JJ/H2H class on Tuesday and get some moderatecardio on the ol' lady afterwards. Wednesday we hit the KBs.

Trying to keep it interested, varied but too not all over the place.

Yoga is a key here. it's used before and after just about every PT and MA workout and on it's own.

Another thing that has caught my interest and I have messed with a bit is that Esmond-White dance based stuff and Tai Chi/Chi Gung. Doing stuff that moves the body but opens and expands it, not constricts and crunches it plus it's easy and does not feel stupid at this point in my life.

Rucking is in the future for sure, just not right now.

At 43, I feel I need to hold myself to standards to be at least a little tougher and on better overall condition than the average male between 18-65 until I am about 65 years old. I am developing issues and weakness that some can be addressed and made better, others just need to be worked around. My strengths as it is need to be accentuated.

There will be faster, stronger, quicker, bigger, ect but I intend to be fast, strong, quick, proper size for my frame and to keep going for a reasonably long time. I can not let my ego needlessly injure me or over drain me in workouts. There will be enough shit in life where I'll have to give it my all, workouts are no longer one of those places. I have to give good effort, smart effort, consistent effort. I can;t be a pussy but I better not be a block head. Ronnie Coleman is not an idol of mine.


The 3 F's Fight, Fuck and Flee, man needs to be able to do these things, it's best to do them well and a good GPP base is what has always seemd the best for me, specialising too much leads to bullshit. Sure a lot of this is with an eye to martial arts for sure but I am not looking to do powerlifting or strongman meets, no body-building comps. Just martial arts, walks, being healthy for my family and being able to handle the shit that can get tossed your way.

Tuesday - Great class for 1.75 hours last night. And my HEMA helmit came in, so more contact sparring with weapons is on!
Good night cardio.

Weds

Jeep Mule

1 run pull like mule

1 run pull walking backwards. 3/4 of the way incorperate rowing with the upper body.

1 run Conan style switching from upright, pressing out with the arms and digging in and leaning into it.

1 run Broke Down Teenager push - back to spare tire on the back and push. Great fucking quad work, really gets around the knees and ankles.

Felt like I fury fucked a 17 year old whore with nymphomania right after, walked funny. great workout!

Going to make a good meal, hang with the kids and then after they go to bed I'll slam the ol lady, thinking about Felicity in the Americans seeing as I won't see it again tonight. Cable by next week, she wants it, so do the brats so I might as well enjoy it and just kick everyone outside more.

Friday I did some full contact stick sparring with Jager. The HEMA hemlits are great!

Saturday 2 hours MA: More full contact stick other stuff.

Sunday Double Clean and Press with 2-24kg KBs and 90degree Squat Rpws with the Jungle gym. Later did some digging and woodcutting..

Tuesday: 2 hour Ju juts/Combatives class

Weds :Jeep Mule workout Pulled backwards ( deadlift drag) Pushed ( Conan push and press ) pushed with the back against the spare tire ( Broke down Teenager legp ress/extension) and some good ol Jeep mule or Husky pulling with the straps.

Great fucking workout, strength and conditioning wise.
Again I feel like I did old school heavy lifting without the joint pain r my hernia area or knee giving me shit about it.

Worked long range striking today a bit.

Some Yoga and core stuff tomorrow.
