Have carried on running qd with some added presses afterwards and on alternate days do an otm thing with goblet squats and chins.

Done around 10 weeks of qd. Bored now. It’s decent, but I fancy a change over the Christmas period. I do like the easy strength/easy endurance ethos though

19/12 - lazy circuit

1. Crawls - 5 mins

2. Skills - 10 mins of handstand, l-sits and tuck levers

3. Circuit - 30 mins of:

30” Box jumps x 5
Assisted muscle ups x 3
9kg ball slam x 5
1h swings - 32kg x 5/5
Db push press - 2x25kg x 3

Did around 6 or 7 rounds. Lots of rest in between.

This is a nice template. I’m going to add volume in a wave fashion as this is a little light for me and I’ll do conditioning on off days

Have reduced volume, but also lowered speed of each rep which has increased intensity somewhat

Not posted but I’ve now reached the ‘next level’ standards of the al kalvedo program. It’s been good and I feel ok. The next phase of skill acquisition though just looks complex as fuck and I’m in two minds as to whether I continue with it. The main rival for my attention at the mo is Furmans garage workout. It’s simple and varied and would make a man fit for most things. Leaning towards that tbh
