Beautiful day of paddle boarding. 4 miles on a lake, along shore with cliffs, rocks, and trees with leaves thinking about turning. Powerboats in the distance, making a few waves that I could almost surf.

Awesome gravel ride, same as last week. Leaves changing, temps in 50s, windy. By myself for 22 miles. Did a little exploring, which added a mile to the tip.

1+30 gravel ride, 1500’ vertical, 18 miles. Below freezing. Tried not to get sweaty on the uphill, but no luck, and froze on the downhill. Brrrr....

Went paddleboarding for an hour on the local lake. Used my new dry suit. Temps were 40/40 air and water. Fun!

Last 4 days ago, on travel, did 4 las of hotel stairwell while carrying a 50 lb DB. Two days later, hiked the ?Manitou Incline in 1+04. Good workout!

Slacking on recording stuff.

Still rucking. Started running again. Started going to gym and doing heavy bag workouts. Using my new dry suit to continue to paddleboard into the winter, although all of the shallower lakes are now frozen over.

Today, paddleboard on lake while snow squalls moved through. Beautiful. Went for full immersion, found I hadn’t closed the zipper all the way, got some water intrusion. Easy adjustment.

With just heavy sweatpants, fleece socks, and a fleece sweatshirt I was warm while immersed. Wouldn’t want to spend an hour in that condition.

Lazy on posting, but today was nice,

Paddleboarding on a partially frozen lake, temp was 32 degrees. About an hour of hard paddling, the only person in sight. Perfect.

Been doing heavy bag workouts, 7 x (2+30 with 30 seconds rest). Then farmer walks around the gym with the single 88 LB KB, then 100 x 55 LB swings, and a bunch of calisthenics mixed in as a warmup to all of this.

Tonight: HB workout, farmer walks, warmup round calisthenics. Arms still a little worn from two nights ago. Sucks to get old. Sigh.

Paddleboarding up the local creek and back, about an hour? It was low 30s and in snow squalls on the 9th of May. Bizarre. In the dry suit, obviously.
