I hate counting calories, but sometimes it is informative. The CRON-O-Meter is geared towards Calorie Restirction Optimal Nutrition, i.e. CR folks, but works for whatever plan you may be on.
As a Mac user, I love it (there are windows and linux versions as well). Check it out.
