### How not to be wrong: the power of mathematical thinking

Book by Jordan Ellenberg. Applies math logic to ordinary issues including obesity, voting, baseball, and cancer. It is non technical and he writes very well. A little esoteric at times but not too often. Those who like Taleb and Kahneman will enjoy this.

Math tends to clarify things quite quickly.

During the week a friend was complaining about a math component to her degree she hadn't seen coming. It made me realise I remember close to nothing from high school math. Pretty disconcerting actually.
