Seperating volume and intensity is more complex but i will try to simplify. Lets say you are doing a four week cycle with week four being back off. Ramping up both volume and intensity gets a bit hard whetehr in WSB or sheiko. You could freeze one variable and raise the other one, and that works fairly well. What works best for me is (assuming a relative value of 1-4, 1 being lowest volume/intensity, 4 highest)

week intensity volume
1 2 3
2 3 4
3 4 2
4 1 1
You can see i am ramping up intensity every week, but only stepping up the volume from week 1 to 2, then dropping the volume in my most intense week. Then dropping both on the backoff week.
