IMO, all the GPP and strength gains in the world can be found in Boris Sheyko's 3-lift routines. Pick the easiest one, subtract 30 pounds (at least) from your real maxes and run through the routine. Your only goal is to adapt to the volume (that's GPP). Next time through, do it with your real weights. Then do beginner 2, followed by beginner peaking. You'll add to all of your lifts and be in better shape than you ever have been.
