The guy who outted Garm came over from a Force Recon website dedicated to exposing fake Recon guys.

Yes, but there was a layer to it.

I was one of probably several IG'ers who contacted DeepRecon to vet Garm.
It was a long process because Garm disappeared from IG when he was first seriously challenged. IIRC, he claimed a health issue.

He posted lab results of elevated liver enzymes before the Deep Recon stuff happened. Later he claimed he had Hep C. If he is that prescient he should play the stock market.

From what I've seen he's doing musical stuff now. Don't bug him but I run across his trail. Wish him well and move on.

I've wondered if Garm ended up in a very secure federally operated shadowy organization. If he was to be believed, he pissed of lots of agencies including the Secret Service.

I believe it was the asswhore's husband.

It was. He was a Secret Service agent, and he wasn't happy about how Garm was treating his wife. He then used something Garm posted (I think a song lyric Garm quoted) as an excuse to knock on Garm's door.

Despite the fairly obvious connection between dedicating hours to calling a Secret Service agent's wife an asswhore and having some agents visit your house, Garm inexplicably blamed Darth for reporting him.

Accurate recollection, IMO.

Extra detail - Garm made some off the cuff remark here about a politician that sounded "menacing'. The remarks about Ms Shaeffer being an "asswhore" were because someone else told him "not to talk about her". So Garm bore down on her, furnishing the motivation. The remark gave the government person the cause.

Garm was getting a divorce and brought a lot of his drama here. So did Mrs. Garm.

What Garm could have done to the Crossfit people is a lost opportunity.
