Bodyweight, mostly outdoors.

Post by Wild Bill » Sat Apr 14, 2018 7:16 pm

Today was third day of prep phase.
At first i thought to postpone rings at least for year and continue with parallettes this summer. But then i thought, parallettes i can do at home, but rings can not, so if i want train outdoor i should do somethin i can not do at home.
So... rings-2. Although i still can not do muscleup.

1.Top Position RTO - 30 seconds x 5 sets. Ok.
2.Dips 3*5 (plan is 5*5)
3.L-Sit to Shoulder Stand. Plan is - 3 reps x 5 sets, but i still trying one rep :)
4.Rings Turned Out (RTO) Push-Ups 3*3 (plan is 5*5)
5.Handstand Using Straps. 3 sets of 3-5sec.
Thats scary as hell, plan is 5 ses of 5-10sec, but i still fighting with fear. Between sets of HS on rings did some handstands on the floor, i mean earth.

WildBill, your posts about handstands on rings took me to the wayback machine, when I used to be able to do a handstand on a skateboard. It is actually easier than on the Earth, since you can control the fore/aft position with the board to compensate. Once learned, you can go for as long a distance as you have a hill! So go steal one from the kids in your neighborhood and give it a try.
Don’t believe everything you think.

Felt weak and tired. But in any case prep phase is ended, next week will be restorative.

Decide to learn Capoeira instead of yoga.
Found good online lessons on youtube. Maybe start today evening.
