It took me a second to figure out what you meant, but I assume this is about demographics and the Chinese family? It’s true that China is headed over a demographic cliff, and it’s hard to know how an authoritarian country that built itself up on a foundation of cheap labor and manufacturing will respond to that. They may figure it’s now or never for military adventurism, or they may decide that that’s a gamble they can’t afford to make. Hard to say where this all goes. Somewhere around 2050 the global population will start to fall for the first time since the Ice Age and that will make for some very sticky changes in a lot of places, with very little precedent to guide us.
