Goddell's thoughts after Monday's game: "Holy shit balls what luck. Thank GOD this didn't happen during a St. Louis vs. Tampa game!"

The NFL owners and Goddell love these replacement refs! The league had saturated its audience but now with these refs the league is getting even more press. People who could careless about the NFL will tune in to see what these zany replacement refs will do next. The regular refs blow calls too and even give away games. This is all free press for a league and owners that don't give a fuck as long as they are making money. Please don't mention player safety and concussions....BWAHAHAHA!!
Take care and please.....................stay safe.

Romney weighs in: "I'd sure like to see some experienced referees with NFL experience come back," he said.

Did he mention any friends who own NFL teams?

Blackshirts. Stick. Together.

Also, due entirely to this thread, the regular refs will be returning to the field tonight.

NEW YORK -- So long, replacement refs. The NFL's regular crews will be back on the field starting Thursday night.

After two days of marathon negotiations – and mounting frustration among coaches, players and fans – the NFL and the referees' union announced at midnight Thursday that a tentative agreement had been reached to end a lockout that began in June.

Apparently those refs got work in the MLB playoffs.

Meh. Crap call because it was so late-- infield fly should be called immediately so that the runners have a chance to tag up. That gets called an error in almost every game I've ever seen. Sloppy play by both teams, and not a well called game overall.
