My Neighbor Fell Off His Roof

Post by baffled »

Landed on his knee. Somehow didn't break anything. Bruised the fuck up all over from what I hear.

He was taken to the nice hospital, where all of their x-ray machines were somehow offline. So they took him to county, where his wife apparently felt pretty unsafe driving in. It's like a war zone in the neighborhood around there. After almost 24 hours, they couldn't get the orthopedist in to see him.

Moral of the story: don't fall off the roof, but if you do, land on your knee and go to the white people's hospital.

Carry on.

Sooooo.....why would he need an orthopedist urgently if nothing was broken?

Nah. Westbound. Stockton is a shithole of the lowest order. I would rather look for a bed at the shelter in San Francisco than live in Stockton.

Maybe not, but it's close.

Because almost breaking something qualifies for disability, and he wants to get the paperwork rolling.

(Gav, if it helps, imagine that the neighbour fell off the roof and went straight into the splits. Or that he was hit when someone carrying a ladder turned around suddenly and he ducked at the wrong time.)
