The Irish dont piss me off like the Roma. Someone a couple generations back on my moms side was Black Iris, so in general, I've got a soft spot for drunkards and even the travelers.

I am, at least in part. My grandad tried to integrate with the normal population so he moved the family from Murphy's Village and tried to take up honest work. My dad was young enough that he didn't pick up the worst of it. I've got two uncles that haven't worked a taxable job in over 30 years. Growing up around it makes me a little biased, I guess. I am proud of my heritage and all but I have no illusions that the majority of the ones I have met, both family and others, were shitbags.
