i could make a second contribution. my question is, is anyone going to post here, or is free speech--at least on this site--dead?
if i put more money in the pot, will crusty return with his cookies and will other savants and ironists bless us with insights.
time is short. the climate is getting dangerously hot and democracy is in jeopardy. we're all getting older and are currently losing muscle mass and erectile function--or soon will be. without igx, how will those and related problems be solved?
I appeal to the large group who disagrees with me almost constantly to give. The opportunity to feel smarter than at least one other person has value.
There's not that much left to get over the top.

Participation is down, but we still get in a few nuggets a month, IMO.
I could add a second contribution, but $400 is a lot closer than $800, so I wasn't sure where we were.
Frankly Glassman should be sending us $$$ for polarizing him.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

It is a combination of having our own dedicated server and the need for anonymity. Believe it or not despite all the freedom of speech stateside and elsewhere being guaranteed by the Constitution and applicable laws hosting providers don't really like hosting ambiguous content such as this.

So basically rather than costing $100/yr it costs upwards of $2000 for the privilege of reading 3 or 4 posts of Kaz's musings on upwardly mobile Mississippi blacks.
Would be nice if he were the guy contributing those sums in red rather than the sweet lady with the reputedly nice butt, but nobody said life would be fair...

I'm a little surprised this is a 2017 issue. Reddit is hosted by AWS and has subreddits devoted to explicitly illegal activity.

It depends on who wants to come after you, torrent sites are not there anymore because of others coming after them willingly.
