"What is Crossfit as a sport?" and "What is Crossfit as training?" may be the two most interesting or important questions. As a training tool Crossfit stands as one of the most effective ways to achieve overall or supplemental fitness. But as a competition and sport, it is up to the creators to define how to measure athletes against each other.
These people need some serious fucking help.

Are ice cubes Paleo? I think if you make them in the freezer they aren't, but if you chip them off a glacier they are.

That's the kind of pull that dominates other athletes.
Is it just me or does anyone else wish that someone behind the sumo dude give him a swift kick in the happysacks from the back?
Can't tell if AJ is smirking or just really disappointed in the background.

Before I read the journal comments, I wanted to blow @Fers brains' out. Now I want to blow mine out. This sackless group of never-weres evaluates information based on the guttural mutterings of their gin-soaked fitness messiah. I weep for the human race.

PS Lynne doesn't read this board anymore.

Add this to the mounting slab of evidence in the "Cultfit is a Franchise" checklist:
It is really disapointing and is kind of moving away from the "free market" approach since HQ is determining the rate for all of the affiliates.
Price controls by the franchisor.

Check.

I was planning on making taking my gf to the sectionals, but $100 are you f'in kidding!? ...that's a new KB, some 25 lb bumpers, a month at a local affiliate,... F that noise!

needless to say, she's not getting an invite and I just decided to volunteer.
Who the hell covets a brand new pair of 25lb bumpers?

And based on what I've seen, $100 is more like 1/2 a month at a local affiliate.

Asking for it:
Hernia Scaling

I have a athlete that has just got back from a hernia surgery. What would be some good rehab style workouts?

And more fun with Louie:
SME's "Louie Simmons"

Has anyone seen the Movie Bigger Stronger Faster.
If not Google it, if you have netflix watch it online. Get to about minute 45 and you willl see mr Simmons. Im not really sure if this a person who should be used by crossfit, it seems to me he advocates using steroids. maybe I misinterpreted his comments if so I apologize. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this. Please If i am incorrect let me know, as I do not want to spread lies and rumors. But Crossfit is about doing things the Natural way, and this seems counter intuitive. thanks.

50 GHD situps
20 L-pullups

Repeat until your bowels fall out.

That's obviously.

The naivete of the @fit faithful is astounding. It's like baseball fans being surprised that McGuire and Sosa used in their HR quest. Get a grip.

Also, several @fit mods still lurk here hoping to catch an IGX troll. To them I say, take your AUP and shove it firmly in your ass.

I spit my drink all over the screen after reading this. @fit is like a 17 year old girl who is angry at her father so she is only going to eat ice chips and apple skins so she can get so skinny she looks like Skip Chase.

And Master Blaster aka Lynne Pitts has this thread as her home screen on one her 6 computer screens from her compound in Hobbit Land. One screen is used for the morons on the gay ass boards, one is a screen links to a camera that looks into Glasshole's hovel and the others are dedicated to this...

Why is John Edwards our #1 Lurker?
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
