There really needs to be a time limit on how long a girl does crossfit. Tamara recently put up some progress pics. Here she is 1 year ago:



She had only been doing it for about 4 months and had gotten herself in decent shape, but as she says, still had boobs.

If these attention whores are SENDING their own pics to WGM doesn't this miss the point about it all? I know its just a money spinner for WGM now, and that's fine, but its a bit old hat to be using the thread as an advertising deck for this shit.

I have been saying this for some time. In his defense he used to post all the pics on this thread every day that ended with "y". It was quite tedious. Now he just shamelessly self promotes but my guess is that the site will sputter out. I have noticed a lot of re-runs lately. Besides all that his site simply objectifies women in a different fashion and I have alway been opposed to this.

Set up a forum so the CFers that would never post at a place like this have somewhere to vent, post daily WOD's that are scored based on max reps and photos per round, link up to all the free shit on the net posted by ex-CFers like Dan John, Wolf, etc. Basically, just recreate crossfit.com without all the stupid.

Everyone that checks this thread wants to see CFHQ go down, I think GorillaFit is the means to do it.

Team Gorilla is definitely part of the solution. There's a revolution happening, although it's a very slow-motion one, and it's due in large part to the couch thread, and to a lesser degree to subversive influences like Team Gorilla.

Talking to @fitters, what really blows me away is how many of them don't know who the dramatis personae from HQ are. It's not just that they don't know the drama, they actually don't know who they are. How can you do Crossfit and not know who Greg Glassman is? Apparently it's easy. For the rank and file in the community all they know about @fit is their neighborhood box and the hardworking people who run them.

That just tells me that HQ continues to bungle their brand, and are slowly, inadvertently removing themselves from relevance. HQ needs the community, the community doesn't need HQ. Team Gorilla loves the community, we don't love HQ, and the feeling is apparently mutual.

the wheels were destined to come off the bus, the couch thread et al are just little flags going up on the periphery. all that is bad about crossfit was going to fester up and all that is good about it will be hacked off, modified, commodified and sold again (hopefully with a little more integrity than HQ managed) all this would happen without t-shirts, facebook and the snickering at IGX.
