Okay. This may sound silly but it is just another measure of how crossfit has changed my life!

The other day my son lost a toy behind our very heavy couch and asked if I was strong enough to pull the couch out so he could get it. I have done it in the past but it took a lot of work. however, by phrasing it "are you strong enough to do it" I felt challenged and decided not to just tell him to wait until daddy came home.

Well, I know how heavy that couch is, which is why I rarely move it. I geared up my muscles to use the same amount of energy I used six months ago (last time I moved it) and pushed.

That couch almost went flying across the living room! Putting it back was no problem!
