What do you expect when theyre being trained by a college kid with a hardcore nickname and vast training experience (his HS swim team was almost good!)?

Mitchell "Devastation" Osborne is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studies English and Japanese. He was introduced to Crossfit in 2006 and is now a Crossfit Level 1 certified instructor. Mitchell has extensive knowledge of kettlebell, swimming, and olympic lifting techniques, and has over 3 years of Crossfit coaching experience. During his high school career, he was on a regionally ranked swim team. Over the past 4 years he has worked closely with kettlebell/olympic lifting trainer Kent Stamey.

Mitchell is competitive in the national Crossfit community. He placed 21st in the 2009 Midwest Regional Qualifier, 9th at the 2010 North/South Carolina Sectional Qualifier, and 35th at the 2010 Southeastern Regional Qualifier. He also placed 1st in his age group (15-25) at the 2006 Lake Hickory Triathlon.

Mitchell embodies the "Warrior Spirit" of Crossfit, and brings a "never back down/never surrender" attitude to the gym every day. Whether it's coaching, competing, or simply working out, Mitchell refuses to let anything get in the way of success. He believes that everyone -- regardless of fitness level -- can always be just a little bit better.
