It seems like the moderates keep winning on both sides. Clinton beat Sanders, Schumer because Senate Minority Leader, and Perez beat Ellison. On the Republican side, on a state by state basis, Republicans running for Congress tended to win their elections by bigger margins than Trump did. Most of them pulled their endorsements back prior to the election too.

Seems like bad news for people on both sides who don't want business as usual.

I am deeply disappointed the Left voted in Perez. Ellison would have been the last nail in the Socialist Coffin.

But props where they are due, Perez was a better choice. But he has a big job ahead. My prediction is he doesn't last much longer than midterms.
