This is just funny to me...

The occasional random workout
Here's a funny thing my wife noticed I do the other day. I guess I never really thought about it, but now I wonder how many other CFers share in this quirk.
I don't think I ever did it before CF, so maybe it is a product of CF or just fitness in general.
How many of you just do the occasional random workout? By that I mean you're about to get in the shower and you just suddenly do 10-20 air squats. Or you're going to the kitchen and you drop and do 20 push-ups. Or you're on the floor petting the dog and then drop back and do 25 sit-ups?
I do stuff like that all the time and it drives my wife crazy. One that really gets her is when I brace my feet on the tub and stretch out to where I'm in the push-up position at an angle with my hands on the bathroom counter and I bust out 20 incline push-ups.
Anyone else pull the random workout for no reason thing? Thought it was kind of funny.
Fag with an LOLcat for an avatar:
You know those things that form lines at banks, amusement parks and Taco Bell? I always do either L-holds or dips.
And escalators. I try to do an l-sit hold the whole way down.
One of the uglier @fit chicks:
yep! it was pretty awesome. i was roadtripping to the games and we spent a few days camping in yellowstone. we were backed up on the road to get out for at least a half hour. hooked my ipod with my tabata tracker to the car, hopped out and did tabata squats on the side of the road
i'm annoyed my family didn't get pictures
LOLcat fag again:
I bring KBs to parties. I was at one and we used "Most snatches in 5 minutes" to determine the starting order of Beer Olympics.
Guy demonstrating that @Fit cockiness everyone smart hates:
It's just an indicator of excess energy, or put another way, excess capability. Which is what we're doing this to achieve. I do it too - every time i take my kid to the park i do some pull-ups or L-hangs or something.
I've also experienced Jason's 'everything looks like a KB' phenomenon. When I did karate, i would often envision kicking random passers-by - not out of agression, just because i was so used to seeing them as targets. Now everything looks like something to do pull-ups of.
Yep, still no regrets about switching out Crossfit for karate
