As a recruiter for a west coast Crossfit I can tell you that getting a bored housewife, who has just started Crossfit, into bed is like shooting fish in a barrel. The only problem is they get a little to clingy. Once you get them to buy into the CF way it is only a matter of time before they want to explore their new found empowerment.

Where was this posted? @Fit forums?
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Base premiums for the professional liability are expected to be on the order of $1,050 for affiliates and $225 for trainers. Rates will be higher for those with larger annual revenues. The general liability policies offered through Endurance will have similar premiums.
It's getting damn expensive to be an @F affiliate these days:
  • $1000 "certification"
  • $2000/year affiliate fee, likely to be raised every year or two
  • $1000 seed money for the RRG
  • $1050/year for professional liability, which is increased if one makes more money
  • $? for general liability
Jeebus. $1000 bucks (and a normal trainer insurance policy) used to get a Level 1 and a year's worth of affiliate fees.

I heard from a buddy of mine that @F Hawaii only "hires from within". No wonder @F trainers are only getting worse and worse. A copy of a copy is always worse than the original.

1050 for insurance isnt out of line. My premiums are about 1300/year with my wife added as a trainer. That's for 3000 square feet and two on-site trainers. Insurance in TX is more expensive than other states.

Of course I didnt have to help fund the creation of my insurance company as a result of stupid shit.

Marine Officer age 28 weight 170
PR up 30lbs from last CFT
Total was 865
concentrated more on the squat form using the wall ball to get the full squat.

No offense Sir but I hope you are in supply. Thats weak for an infantry officer and unacceptable for an NCO.

This isn't really that bad... bodyweight overhead press + twice body weight squat + about 2.1 bodyweight deadlift @ 170 = 865. I'm not saying this is strong but it certainly doesn't warrant being called out when people are struggling to press 135 lbs and deadlift 225.

I'm sure as long as he scores high on his PFT and CFT the Marine Corps could care less what his xfit total or fran time is.

Probably a good officer that got sucked into it. They (USMC ) are doing a @fit study in Okinawa IIRC. I think its for 24 weeks.

WTF. Compared to other people in his profession, that's pretty GD strong. If you measured everybody, I'd be surprised if he wasn't comfortably in the top 5% of solders under 30.

LOL FAGZ:
I find it hard to meet people who are into the CrossFit lifestyle. I know the best place to meet people would probably be at other Affiliates, but we are all there to do the WOD and get down to business.

Is there any good place to meet CrossFit singles? I dated a girl who wasn't into our lifestyle and it didn't work out too well. She would want to go out randomly for wings, beer, pizza. Not going to happen! She got ****ed at that.

Any suggestions?
