Well, I helped spread the hate locally, at any rate. There was a tatted-up guy doing many 65# clean and presses next to me at the gym,and he was talking about Crossfit. I asked him if he ever went to the main CF forums and he said "No."

So I found a piece of paper, wrote "IGX" on it, and told him to start posting there and tell them that the guys from IGX sent him.

2-WE left becasue Greg Glassman LIED to me and I left in a protest, attempting to chang things. HE asked me to come back. My gym was thriving and was, int fact picked as one of Mens Health’s “Top 30 Gyms in America”. That happened when we were GONE from CrossFit. At least years Filfest he asked me to stand up and brag about how much money my gym made.

3-I make significantly more money than I did as a chemist! This is classic Glassman Straw-Man. He wished that we would fail when we left CF before, he wishes and will do about anything, including slander to ensure our failure now.

4-Yes, it’s obviously a bad idea to fly two flags when you can be kicked out at any minute for not toeing the party line. One day you own your gym and URL, the next you DO NOT. Horrible advice to offer.

6-50% of every lecture was devoted to the Zone, they have VIDEO on their OWN site with me talkign about the Zone. Does he not watch the content on his own site?

My first post. The hatred of @fit has not hit, but certainly the extreme dislike of the management team and the knowledge of their stupidity has. Below is a post I made to one of the @fit boards in response to the asstro being a nice guy video after the BBS; which was pulled. Interestingly, the whole thread is now missing.......

"I am in agreement with many of the comments above re the misuse of prescription. However, the only people who will be affected are the affiliates themselves. If an affiliate prescribes an eating regiment for a client based on the training given at a cert, they will be sued, not CFHQ. Because of the word 'Affiliation', CFHQ assumes no responsibility legally for any of their actions. I just see this as another reason for not having franchises in the eyes of HQ. And another reason for not enforcing any kind of standards for training in the field. Further to this conversation, I have had several email exchanges with the same member of the mgmt team who threatened me. I am stating the obvious here, but it's not just the @fitter's in the field who are drinking the kool-aid, it is the members of hq as well. There is no possible way to have a discussion of intelligence when the people are unwilling to listen. Or have already decided that their's is the only way.

I am almost 50 and started @fit almost 10 months ago. I have been around long enough to not just drink the kool-aid and so while I believe that if applied correctly, the exercise program I am using is beneficial, blindly following has never been a way of life for me.

Anyhow, I train with one of the recently banned members of the @fit community and for that, I am thankful. So officially, by association, I am no longer a @fitter.

On the bashing of low level assfitters:
IMO this should be encouraged. Will these soft as silk white collar pussies dwell on the same plane of Hell as Asstro or Cooch during the dirt nap? Probably not. But the way those fuckbags strut around in Vibram five fingers waxing poetic about "energy pathways" and "Zone blocks" is in and of itself a ticket to get chops busted. I've seen and heard these fags in action.
Are some well meaning people who are simply trying to better themselves? Sure, but they are the minority. Most are Tapoout wearing fruitcakes and banker types...wannabe hard asses failing miserably and playing dress up.

If all this is true, this is a very good libel case. Couch is asserting facts, not opinions, and apparently facts he knows are untrue. Plus it's done for the intentional purpose of unfair competition. Juries love this type of thing. First step: Cease and Desist letter plus demand for public written retraction.

One of the strange things about the RRG is that I never saw what it would cover or the limits. Standard CGL and homeowner policies often offer coverage for libel.
