Anyone else find it hilarious watching couch get lectured in the same blowhard obtuse fashion he blathers on about in his own videos? Fucking awesome stuff.Botototo wrote:New nutrition guy, Dr. Scott Connelly...

Re: The couch thread
From Lyle's board, not top caliber @fit hate by any means, but a fun video of @fitters dominating other athletes through competition, not debate.

Oh, wait, that's not what happened at all!
And the commentary from Lyle and his goonimals:

Do not speak ill of a man with an occational metacon log.
Re: The couch thread
Just skimmed through the thread and it doesn't seem like much happened over the past few weeks.
All I've got say is that the guys at CFHQ are cunts for the way the responded to Dede's death. Someone here mentioned that Glassman called to offer his condolences - if I got a call from that shitbag telling me he's sorry that a friend/family member of mine died (however directly/indirectly) from one of his workouts, you can bet that wouldn't make me feel any better about the situation. Fuck you, Glassman.

EPIC irony from the cooch...
Couch Crassmen wrote:Arthur Jones and his development of Nautilus equipment fixed it so that a minimum wage kid can run your exercise program for you. The fitness industry, to this day, is predicated on this concept. You cannot hire experienced strength coaches to work in commercial gyms. But you can show a kid how to set a pin in a Nautilus machine in a weekend seminar and turn him loose.

Re: The couch thread
This guy and his 600# DL ain't no @Fer...think couch was the one who took him here in less than 2 years from starting at a 200# pull?
Noticed that he beat out the next guy by 175#...http://scores2010.crossfit.com/scoring/r/367/
Oh ya...probably no drug testing going on at any regionals, sectionals...or the Gaymes for that matter. The sheep won't question this guy as being one of their own.

Did I miss the directive from the mountaintop that all @fit andro broads need sleeve tatoos?
The trend is spreading faster than chain wallets and board shorts.

Smart move - deciding to beat everyone by a mile when a foot would have sufficed - especially when you probably have three or four more workouts to "compete" in that same weekend. That's strategy, right there.Quack Attack wrote:Noticed that he beat out the next guy by 175#...http://scores2010.crossfit.com/scoring/r/367/

Strategy for a Fagfit "competition"? You must be out of your mind. Just throw yourself at that random shit with all you got and more. With enough juice everything will be fine...POD wrote:Smart move - deciding to beat everyone by a mile when a foot would have sufficed - especially when you probably have three or four more workouts to "compete" in that same weekend. Some nice videos today on the mainpage! First of all Khalipa demonstrates how to completely smash your lower back in just 6:16 (http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/Cros ... lipaDT.mov) then a freaky looking faggot speaks about "Disrupting the supply chain" of Globo Gyms: http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CFJ_ ... railer.mov
That stupid cocksmocker is proud of six year olds which have been "crossfitting longer than two years"... Fucking child molestor thinks that Fagfit Kids will change the world.

That's Jeff Martin, and damn, he's a terrible speaker.Cowboys and Aliens wrote:a freaky looking faggot speaks about "Disrupting the supply chain" of Globo Gyms: http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CFJ_ ... railer.mov
But apparently he has teh martial arts skillz.
In judo (under the USJA), it takes a minimum of 19 years in grade to go from first to fifth degree (it's supposed to, anyway). Perhaps he teaches the @F version of martial arts.Training directly under Sifu Dan Cepeda, Jeff was awarded his black belt in the summer of 1997.
He was awarded a fifth degree Black Belt and the title of Sifu in 2000.

I know Jeff Martin, but I have to say he's jumped the shark with that speech. Kriest o'Mighty, driving 24hr Fitness under because your kids are @fitters?
Only the true believers will buy that shit.

I also like the militarization of the whole thing..."disrupting the supply chain", etc.
