You had better bet those kids of his are the most elite six year olds you've ever seen too. Those motherfuckers just rock the playground when they go out for recess. Could you imagine how good they must be at four-square after all that wall ball? They probably win every game of chicken-fight on the monkey bars too with all that kipping practice they do - not to mention their mad hopscotch skills from doing endless box jumps, burpees, and double-unders.

CrossFit - Functional fitness for the masses.

Back to “Smitty” as he likes to be called. “Could it be”, I asked myself, "that Smitty doesn’t know how to lift overhead?” Why not? Most trainers do not. I’d have asked Smitty directly but he may not know, and I’ve reasons (I’ve promised silence, but I will get released from it if Smitty wants to rock’n’roll) to doubt his integrity and honesty to begin with. So…I went to his website to see if I could find a clue, and here is what I found http://www.powerdevelopmentinc.com/phot ... lds%20perf orming%20Military%20Press.JPG

As someone who paid $100+ for a kettlebell, I cringe at those fuckers needlessly dropping them like that.

Oh, and one more thing: Ron, you thought Shaf made some good points about CrossFit? I was amazed at how little he’d come away with having posted as much as he has here. His four points about CrossFit, for instance, are each either deadwrong or nonsense. I also see where he too is bothered by my assertion, and I’ve been making it publicly for more than a decade unanswered, that exercise science has done nothing to impact the way any successful coach or athlete trains for their sport, yet, like Siff, Shaf offers not one single example. He just doesn’t like it. Well, I don’t either.
Jeezus, forgot how funny that shit was. How 'bout you, Steven?

His BB is in Krav Maga. Not sure how quickly they promote.
And let’s not forget SHAF the pajama clad postulator extolling opinions on a dozen different fitness forums 10 to 12 hours a day including major holidays.

Yet now he's paying Louie Simmons ....

My guess is he justifies this by redefining "exercise science."

Complete with thrown kettlebells and talk of taking over the world. It's like a religious experience for most of these fucks.

I glanced over his bio, and it doesn't look like he even started Krav until after he received rank in Kenpo.
He later trained with Tracy's Kenpo Karate
in El Cajon, Ca. and in the summer of 1991, Jeff found Cepeda Brothers Martial Arts. Training directly under Sifu Dan Cepeda, Jeff was awarded his black belt in the summer of 1997.
He was awarded a fifth degree Black Belt and the title of Sifu in 2000. He has also trained extensively in Boxing, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do, and Arnis De Mano.

The Jeet Kune Do principle of taking what is useful and discarding what isn't has always heavily influenced his Martial Arts training and philosophy.
With this attitude of efficiency in mind, Jeff chose to bring Krav Maga to Brand X, with a firm belief that it is the best Reality Based system out there.
In 2003 he became a licensed Krav Maga Instructor through the Krav Maga National Training Center (KMNTC).
I'm not a rank Nazi, but I was in the Tracy system for awhile (which is why this irks me so much). Many schools do dojo promotions for kyu grades, but dan ranks are registered with the national HQ, many Godans of which are examined by Al Tracy. That's to ensure you don't jump four grades in three years.

Quick vote, guys: What frequently-used CF lift gives us the best Andro Friday pics? I'm going to have to go with the overhead squat on this one.

If you're an ass man, I agree. However, if a tit man, the close ups of the deadlift are usually good.
