I would let Aimee throw me down and have her way with me any day of the week. Come to think of it, I might not be able to stop her if I wanted... and I'm ok with that.

She has a blog which has some really nice pictures (including her wedding day photos which were smoking!) but its been down a while.

Yeah, those wedding photos are some good ones...I am surprised the Gorilla has not posted any or even just commented on them.

Reposting wedding photos seems a little creepy.

Amaya canned her blog BECAUSE she couldn't decide if she liked all the IGx comments about how hot and thick she was, or if she felt you bastards were creepy stalkers who wanted to wear her skin like a sundress.

Action says the latter is what she settled on.

Snowangel said pretty much the same thing to me. You guys need to get a grip sometimes.

1.Today one of the trainers at my crossfit gym mentioned something about the trainers competing to see who has the best score doing "tabata smiles"...apparently its harder than doing tabata squats and more intense due to the number of muscles in your face.

WOD: "Tabata Smiles"
8 rounds of 20 seconds of smiles, followed by 10 seconds rest.
*smiles must be at full ROM, no partial smiles are counted, so basically you have to smile at full extension/flexion of your facial muscles, when at the top of your smile you can no longer smile more.
edit *oops, almost forgot...your incisors has to show (please scale appropriately if you dont have any)

your score is the lowest reps of smiles at any of the rounds.

please post your score below.
Elite fitness indeed.

Plenty of dudes have that kind of kink. Maybe Fish does. If he embraces it, he'll feel better all around.

Saw this comment on the dirty south regional results:
13. Annon wrote...

Congrats to all who competed. It sucks that the beast AJ Moore was hurt in the first WOD. Rich Fronning is supernatural.

One complaint though. Andy Hendel should not be allowed to judge when his son is competing, particularly when his son is in contention to advance, and even more so when he barely makes it. Unfortunately for Spencer it casts a long shadow over his qualification. Hendel Sr. took a number of reps away from a number of competitors that may have caused his son not to advance. While, he may not have done this to advance his son, it gives a shade of impropriety. Now, that said, Specncer is a beast just like the other athletes there.

Congrats to all.

22. Johnny Mac wrote...

Annon,
Your point was noted before the finals. The Event Staff and Event Judging held a discussion exactly to that fact before the top 24 Heats. The decision to stay with the current Head Judge was for our overriding Event Judging goal of Consistency. With scoring only from Saturday in account the top 24 on Sunday could easily change position. The last two heats for both Men and Women necessitated the same crew. The outdoor finals, at that venue, with the prescribed movement was a very transparent event, any impropriety could be easily seen by all. Add in the fact that I myself was on the court and unannounced to anyone, we had 2 other Head Judges working from the sidelines.
The community is small and close, you would be hard pressed to find any heat without a strong personal or related connection from Athlete to Judge somewhere. Andy Hendel has the highest moral caliber of anyone I know, it is not in doubt! True Spencer is a beast
Of course, Andy Hendel hosts CF certs where J-Mac is an instructor.

Hey WGM - How much money are you making off of your blog? I just took a look at it today and realized that you must be making a killing off all the traffic you have been getting for reposting @fit bitches.

Way to take some couch initiative and make $$$ off of @fit =D>

Maybe time for a name change, "Big Money Couch Gorillia"

I've still got a long way to go, Beez. Although I'm getting linkbacks from affiliates who understand, and my FB fan page has more @fitters than igx'ers (although there's obviously some overlap there).

Next step: T-shirts.

I don't know how I missed this before:

FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2010

When did diaries become a public thing? How strange.

It's amazing how much the internet has changed things.
POSTED BY ALLISONNYC AT 12:55 PM

The comment I left, that I seriously doubt she'll approve, since she also didn't accept my FB friend request:
Considering how you of all people understand the value of creating a brand and managing a public persona The Gorilla finds your remarks to be a little disingenuous.

The Gorilla gets his share of both fan mail and hate mail too. That's part of being an Internet celebrity. Frankly you've done a commendable job of managing your image. If you're only now deciding to retire from the spotlight, that's fine, and your choice. But do you expect anyone to believe that you're surprised by all this?

Don't have a girl, Shaf.

Dumb quote:
I've been following Tnation and Mainsite for a couple years now, and it's interesting to see how they are starting to head towards the same direction. Tnation is doing more GPP, my circuit style, basically more CrossFit. And, how (not necessarily mainsite, but many affiliates) are using 5/3/1, and other powerlifting methods.
Yeah, not so much.

Wait a minute. You post pictures of yourself at every opportunity-and when someone hasn't taken one of you in the last 10 minutes, you go ahead and do the job yourself-you blog, and then you turn around and complain about lack of privacy? Do you get the disconnect here?

She has such beautiful blonde hair, it's a shame she dyes her roots black.

But that collar looks hawt on her!
