whatever happened to the original x-fit stars--greg a, the climber (whatever his name was), eva t, fuckable asian annie, etc? did glassman reward them with a piece of the action? or are they simply yesterday's news, working as trainers at their local affiliate?kreator wrote:

Re: The couch thread
thanx doc. are they mere x-fit trainers in n cal? or do they own some piece of the business, as a reward for having been there early and helping it become the success it is? are they involved beyond their local affiliate? just curious whether they got some reward for their important early contribution, or whether glassman shucked them like bad oysters.
anyone who has started a business and leaned on people in the early days knows that decent people reward those who were with them at the outset.

Greg A. went to work for the DEA a year or two ago and was busy with the academy, training, moving around, etc. for a year at least. I have a friend of a friend who talks to him every now and then and I believe he's switched to a more strength focused program is possibly a bit disenfranchised as well. But everything other than the first sentence could just be something I created in my mind.

Yes, but they're much happier now. They keep their heads down, train their people, and cringe every time Couch does something stupid.Quack Attack wrote:They're all like B-list celebrities now.

Whoa-ho-ho! There's a second post in that @FJ page about Clever and Holmberg:WildGorillaMan wrote:HQ only even ran that piece because they were shamed into doing it by grassroots support on Facebook and elsewhere in support of Clever and Holmberg.Yes I Have Balls wrote:The outpouring of support and respect for these two great champions is really overwhelming.

I hope I'm not talking out of turn here, but my good friend Jay Ashman, who's no fool, is on lockdown (post moderation) at the forumz after starting this thread:

HQ really doesn't understand how badly they're pissing away their brand with their childish antics and their North Korean approach to media management. One day they'll shoot themselves in the foot too many times and there will be a full scale affiliate revolt.

That's hilarious and sad at the same time. You have to wonder if next year's events will just happen to favor a more "marketable" body type to win the big prize.friedquads wrote:Whoa-ho-ho! There's a second post in that @FJ page about Clever and Holmberg:

I'm sure there's going to be a fitness posing/swimsuit modeling/andro babe event in the next one that will count for 95% of the scoring.justpassingthrough wrote:That's hilarious and sad at the same time. You should also sell the Jello to the freaks as an extra source of revenue. I'm sure the die-hard @fitters will want to eat androbabe-flavored Jello and be willing to pay for it.WildGorillaMan wrote:If that becomes the case, once again they're riding my coattails.

Mmmmm. Gristle-flavored androbabe jello.

I'm thinking that heat exhaustion at the venue won't be a problem because there will be garden sprinklers set up next to the workout areas, spraying down the athletes. Style points will be awarded for flipping your hair around will licking your lips mid-workout.
