The back on #201 pic 3 and 4 on the page is amazingly impressive. And not possible for any woman or most men without the needle.

Wow. That back is extremely muscled.
In some article or book I have, the author shows pictures of assorted olmypic lifters (Dreschler's WLE I think) and there's a definite progression from low level to Olympians with the density of the muscularity of the back.

Mainpage quote of the day:

It boggles the mind that the folks in charge of putting shit up on the mainpage are so out of touch with reality. Maybe they are just really stupid.

Re: The couch thread
Rigert had the most amazing back development i have seen, and i agree Oly lifting is pretty good at back (and quad) development. My point with the Gaymes particpant in question is i doubt she has a long Oly background and no woman looks like that on just creatine and Captain Crunch no matter how she kills Fran.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Wow. Satire is dead. How can you mock people who do a better job of self-parody than you ever can?

Definitely some physique changes for her from last year. This is last April:

Haha. More (I'm sure) unintentional stupidity from mainpage.

This is why most people don't last long. Google "@F scared" or "@F nervous" and you can see how people feel about doing these workouts. Add in overzealous trainers screaming at people like drill instructors and there is a great recipe for catabolic weight loss at the start and long-term negatives. While exercise is remarkably effective at blunting the stress response, at least for a few hours, this effect exists only if you want to exercise in the first place. After all, a big reason working out relieves stress is that it elevates your mood; when mice are forced to run in the lab, their levels of stress hormones spike. So when you force yourself to go to the gym and then suffer through 30 minutes on the treadmill (lamenting the experience the entire time), you don’t reduce your stress levels. In fact, you might be making things worse.

WGM's right. The level of self-parody has exceeded any smarm I could deliver. Making fun of @F at this point is like bukakkeing a dead quadriplegic tranny and bragging about it.Carey Kepler is a world-class athlete. She was awarded 1st place in the Hells Half Acre southwest qualifier in May 2009. Recently Carey took the “3rd Fittest Woman in the World” title for her 3rd place overall at the 2009 International CrossFit Games – surpassing over 75 nationally ranked female athletes.
