I don't think it's so much "they [bodybuilders] aren't strong," so much as the fact they do so many isolation exercises that their complimentary/stabilizing musculature can be out-of-whack. Ask them to do a functional exercise and chances are they'll hurt themselves.

I'll be honest, I read Drywall @fit one time, its funny no doubt, and many @fitters read it and giggle at it although they are the same people that do the same shit he talks about. I understand making fun of yourself and mocking yourself, but he DOES FUCKING @FIT!!!!
There was a point in time when I did @fit and I loved it, a lot of here did the same. We drank that koolaid and learned from it. We got caught up in the endorphin rush and the crazy ass workouts only to realize that the only thing we are improving at is fucking @fit and maybe running a 5k.
Hell, I admit this as well... I like @fit football because as much as its the name @fit it goes exactly opposite of what the mainpage bullshit teaches, proper strength work, balance, short hard metcons, sprinting, speed work and explosive training. You can get the best of both worlds without fucking yourself up, and by Welbourn's own admission, he will even say "do the metcon at 75-80% of your capacity" so you don't burn out and become a clock chaser... that is heresy in the CF world because everywhere you look you see idiots chasing clocks with bad form and half-assed reps. I see it all the time and its horrible.
That doesn't mean I do @FFB, but at least its a nice alternative to the 20 minute fuckfests that make men look like Kate Moss on dbol.
Those that woke up from the koolaid induced drug overdose are better for it, but at least we are true to the game and not sitting here being hypocrites and talking shit on @fit while still doing it.
Want to be a cool dude, Drywall? Actually practice what you preach and quit licking both sides of the cock.

By being an active @fitter, Drywall will have access to the LULZ that we don't. The @fitters will be sending him tons of tales of insanity to see their if their "story" makes the blog. When he reaches the traffic level of WGM and his endless supply of andro chicks, DW will be able to sever his ties and rejoin civilized society. In the interim, why would he kill the cow he's milking ?Jay wrote:I'll be honest, I read Drywall @fit one time, its funny no doubt, and many @fitters read it and giggle at it although they are the same people that do the same shit he talks about. Your only contribution to the world of exercise is a blog that makes fun of @fit. As hilarious as this video was, it was hardly necessary. Anybody in the couch thread could have told them thatthis workout has no place in college athletics. One single workout put 13 Iowa Hawkeyes in the hospital, with a condition called Rhabdomyolosis - a muscle disorder caused by extreme exertion. The University of Iowa did a two month investigation, but found no fault.
The National Strength and Conditioning Association believes the University's report is flawed. And to prove it, they put CBS 2 Sports Director Jared Aarons through a workout similar to the one done by the Hawkeyes.
The results speak for themselves, and show why the NSCA believes this workout has no place in college athletics.

I don't have any "inside" info on Reebok - and yes, I'm one of CF HQ's lawyers. That I don't ought to tell you what you need to know. Reebok isn't secretly guiding CF's business decisions - for Eric Fasciani above - they don't get to have more than one box. Every box will be individually licensed to a CF Level I trainer; same as anyone else. Like we say to every other prospective affiliate who applies - what business relationship you have outside of that is your decision. I'm not going to repeat what I've already written about the (erroneous) notion of Reebok as a threat to Affils - Google the SicFit article written by my friend Kevin Cherrick and my response.
If you don't like Reebok's gear, you don't have to buy it. Just like it if you don't like Progenex, or Under Armour, or Panda Express, or Budweiser, or Paleokits, or Life As Rx'd, or Gatorade, or Rogue, etc... (all previous sponsors of the Games), you don't have to buy their stuff. You can decide where you want to spend your discretionary dollars.
But there can't be any doubt in anyone's mind for a minute that Reebok's agreement to a long-term commitment to the Games is a very good thing for Affiliates and the community as a whole. For those who want to remain "underground" or whatever other term you're substituting for "elitist" and "segregated", we wouldn't have some of the great people we have now if that had been the predominant attitude. In fact, YOU wouldn't know about CF because it would have remained hidden in a small gym in Santa Cruz and only Annie, Eva T, Greg A., Tony B., and some of the other OC'ers would ever have known about it.
And of course money ruins everything. Because I'm much more morally decrepit now that I make a good living than I was when I was on welfare as a kid, or broke as a college student, but at least then I was pure of heart and mind and ethically unspoiled.
