She is a very nice person. And if she's more man than you are that's your problem, not hers.

Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet. Either Joey was making a very abstruse joke that Lauren ranks 6th in the pack hierarchy, as opposed to dead last (insert BMack joke here) or he isn't nearly as well educated as his sign-off about "praxis" would lead you to believe.

Re: The couch thread
Joey didn't have to "pledge" to become a combat controller, as we called them back in the day. So either he is unaware of the Greek alphabet OR he is putting it in A-Z terms that his @fit audience could understand. Either way it was a nice pick up on your part, but it worries me that you read these things so carefully.WildGorillaMan wrote:My subconscious only now made this ping, I know not why. Is he that crafty and devious to insinuate that being 6th in the hierarchy would be worse than last considering her once prominent position ?

If he was that crafty he would have negotiated a written contract.

Sort of, she is down in Cincy which is 4+ hours away.friedquads wrote:Hey Jay, isn't that Phelps-Sweatt chick in your neck of the woods?
I ran into her a couple times at meets over the years, when you see her its hard to believe she moves the weight she does.
Same goes for Scot Mendelsohn's sister Shawna. We trained at the same gym in NY for several years, she's another one who put up numbers that 99% of men would kill to have.

I noticed that right away...I was just hoping that Joey was trying to say she's nowhere near an Alpha, but figured it was likely that he didn't know his Greek alphabet, while trying to be clever. Because really, why pick Zeta over Epsilon?WildGorillaMan wrote:My subconscious only now made this ping, I know not why. I feel like a retard for glossing it over the first time. Re: The couch thread
The Zeta concept has been discussed in men's rights articles and is basically emo faggotry. It indicates intentional non-participation in social hierarchal structures. He didn't use it correctly here.WildGorillaMan wrote:That's right, twist the knife in my shame.JohnnyBadAss wrote: I noticed that right away...I was just hoping that Joey was trying to say she's nowhere near an Alpha, but figured it was likely that he didn't know his Greek alphabet, while trying to be clever. I noticed it but quickly deduced that, had Joey been in a frat, he would have been hazed unmercifully, and thus would have known his alphabet. He strikes me more as a guy who would read up on men's issues.
