Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. - Helen Keller

I've always had people that did band-assisted pullups to have one foot outside of the band. That way, if the grip failed or if they slipped (reasonable assumptions if they couldn't pull themselves onto a bar to begin with), they could at least half-ass catch themselves with the free leg.

But this is @F. Working without a net is eleet.

So much for learning to run better and injury free. :Hangman:
I remember reading that he did a kettlebell certification though hurt his shoulder. In his last book, he met with a speed caoch though didn't finish because he got injured doing either 20s or 40s and was using @fit endurance to train for an ultra which was to be completed around the time the book was published but.....http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/ultra/.
Guess it takes more than 4 hours.

What's the problem ? She's got that nice big baby bump to cushion her fall. I just want to know why she's not wearing a gas mask. Make it a little harder to get O2 to the future yard ape so he/she/it is born "eleet".

My name is Dale Saran
...
If I do not hear back from you, the next time you receive a notice will be service of process for a lawsuit. Once that starts, I do not intend to stop that process until we are standing in front of a federal judge with you and your attorney explaining why you think you can use our mark with impunity.
LULZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, the thought of Dale bumbling in front of a federal judge makes me want to advertise @F Gin Master in USA Today. Second, you stop when you achieve your objective (which should have something to do with your client's goals). Dale would know that if he ever achieved his objectives in the first place.

Well, he says he's going to stop at the first hearing. With that threat, I think I'd just go ahead. LULZ

Where did that come from, GM?

Serious question: has @fit ever gone further than the C&D letter? Has anyone, anywhere ever actually been taken to court over trademark? To my knowledge they've never actually sued anybody. Because if they had it would have been reposted in this thread.

If I'm off-base here, someone please clue me in.

That's what I thought.

One day a cartel of affiliates are going to get together, stop paying their fees and carry on as @fit boxes, business as usual and when Saran starts to squawk, they'll collectively tell HQ to go fuck themselves.

That day will be like New Year's Eve on the couch thread.

I've been saying for year(s) now that affiliates need to form a collective of some sort to have more leverage when dealing w/ HQ. I'm not up on the area of law, but a franchisor has certain duties to its franchisees. Of course HQ says they are are "affiliates" not franchises and maybe there's a legal distinction, but business relationships still entail some duties. HQ could have their back put to the wall if affiliates would band together and wisen up. WHERE ARE YOU INSURANCE POLICIES?? WHY CAN HQ DEVOTE TIME AND MONEY TO RELATIONSHIPS PROFITABLE TO HQ (e.g., Reebok) WHILE FAILING TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE RRG?

I hate to change the subject, but HQ would be so dissapointed if I didn't post this here.

Apparently we're all so desensitized to T&A and child endangerment that they're upping the ante and trying to piss off the animal rights crowd.

Here's the squeals of outrage from the vegan contingent of the @fit community:

Yeah, doesn't take a vegan to see the disrespect in that picture. Keep shooting lower, HQ...you will eventually hit bottom.
