For fuck's sake, Khalipa is one of their main instructors. Hasn't he had the time to learn how to do a clean and bench properly yet?
Not knowing the difference between a muscle clean and a power clean is just humorous.
Another example of changing the goalposts to avoid meaningful comparisons to other athletes.

Hell, I'd take those lifts any day. I'd be happy to jerk 350, much less OHS it.protobuilder wrote:They're cleaning, benching, and overhead squatting more than you? What a duck says wrote:Hey kids! Can YOU find all the things wrong with this video?

They are strong dudes... as long as it isn't a trainwreck, who cares. What a duck says wrote:That was the most succinct way of putting it that I can imagine.powerlifter54 wrote:Strong guys.

When people seem shocked at the sight of you training in public you're better off if they think you look a tool rather than a threat.Cave Canem wrote:You just can't make this shit up......

Another Crossfitter who thinks gas mask training simulates high altitude training yet has no clue how the actual physics of that works...Cave Canem wrote:You just can't make this shit up......

I've been running with a vest lately to prepare for a race where I'm actually going to have to run with weight. (Guarantee that guy isn't.) When I do I make sure I'm just running and not folding up packages and stuffing them into mailboxes while wearing a gas mask. What a moron.

Training is more bizarre now and more fascinating than Peary and Mabel Rader could have ever imagined. Instead of waiting every 2 months or so to find out what nonsense was going on within the cult, we get updates instantly anytime some douchebaggery occurs in the name of strength and fitness.

Agreed. He should have just kept the weight on and saved money on the vest.he's lost at least 20 pounds
This makes me think that there is a silver lining to the new detainee provision in the Senate bill. Maybe the military can act on a few anonymous tips and detain @Fers who train in gas masks and bunker gear on busy street corners. I suspect the interrogations will quickly go downhill as an envelope arrives with cult leader Couch wearing an infidel shirt and deriding our military's PT methods.

You would be surprised. When you are surrounded my folks who tell you how great you are every minute it is shocking when somebody says something different.
Why do you think we have so many guests and lurkers?
We are a minor but annoying pea under their mattress.

On top of that, there was a total lack of baby strapping going on. So not hardcore.
Gentlemen, we stand at a pivotal, maybe an historic point. The bar for @fit dumbassery has been set remarkably high. It's akin to the era before the four minute mile.
Where is the Roger Bannister of @fit to come out and make us re-evaluate what is really possible?
I guess all we can do is wait.
