I'm late to the party too Mickey.
Mrs Gorilla and I have watched up to season five.
You really need to start at the beginning. We tried jumping into season seven and felt lost.

weeds is bunk. that woman is just a shitty mother and a bit of a dumb bitch when it comes to business. hateful waste of brain cells
IMO, BB is the second coming of The Wire for gritty intensity. Walter White epitomizes excellence in Fatherhood -the willingness to do what is necessary.

No I haven't. I don't really watch much tv. Last show I really watched was LOST. Greatest show ever, imo.
I've never seen The Wire either. I started watching Dexter and really liked it but got kinda busy and lost track of it. Would like to get back into it.

Re: Weeds
We enjoy Weeds, but its definitely in a different category from The Wire, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Shield, etc.
Its more of a guilty pleasure like True Blood or Entourage. It's a fun way to waste a half hour, but you won't have died unfulfilled if you miss it.

Re: Weeds
Weeds was entertaining for a few seasons before it jumped the shark a few times too many. But it looks like March of the Retards next to Breaking Bad. If you were looking for a series to watch, Breaking Bad or The Wire would be the ones to see.Mickey O'neil wrote:Grandpa's Spells wrote:Have you seen Breaking Bad?Mickey O'neil wrote:Been curious about this show and I hear it is very good. A lot of those shows are like crack-- once you get hooked after a few episodes, you will watch every episode.Mickey O'neil wrote:Grandpa's Spells wrote:Have you seen Breaking Bad?Mickey O'neil wrote:Been curious about this show and I hear it is very good. Anyone here watch it? Thoughts?

Just Google the scenes of Mary-Louise Parker topless and/or fucking.
Re: Weeds
I hate to admit it but I've watched through season 4. I like it but it leaves me feeling a little dirty; like the movie American Beauty-- there seems to be a a kind of Hebrew/homo self loathing that leaves me unsatisfied.
If you've got limited TV viewing time invest in 'Breaking Bad' or 'Sons of Anarchy.'
Remeber, Mick, I have never steered you wrong.

Come in, who wants to watch a TV show where everyone is practical, keeps their nose clean, and makes sensible, careful decisions? There's a reason why there there isn't TV show called Real Mormon Housewives of Salt Lake City.

You failed to notice where I lauded Walter White for achievements in fatherhood. Please to re-assess your nonsense.
