I guess several times a year you can climb this tower...with gear. Looks pretty crazy. I can't get the link to imbed.

One of the guys I rock climb with regularly installs - maintains etc cell phone towers - I think he said 600' is the highest he has done. Doesn't seem to bother him any. As a long time climber, the height wouldn't bother me - but rock walls don't sway in the wind like a tower can do - I think that might be a little freaky.

I was always the guy to top out a building when I was in construction.

I once climbed up the tower crane to check it out.

I have a fear/ exhilaration thing with heights ever since I was little and first started to climb tall trees. I get scarred but then I turn it into FUCK YEAH! Same with water towers and billboards.

As long as something is solid (why I don't get into rock climbing, shit breaks loose)I'm game.

One of these days, when I have the extra money so I can go to this place in NC that lets you do a couple of static line jumps and then a free fall at the end of the weekend, I'm just going to do it and deal with her shit after. The idea of Tandem just does not do it for me although if I could have I would have taken Nate Morrison up on it. Can't go across country just to jump strapped to a friend.
