I remember one of our local stations carried this thing for one season and about 13 episodes; they broadcast it on Saturday night at midnight, which should tell you everything you need to know about the audience they aiming for (and yes, I was in that audience at the time).
They never showed any more G.L.O.W. stuff after that (new or reruns) and so I forgot all about it until now. Was this an ongoing thing, then, or just a one shot that never reached an audience?

Yeah, I vaguely remember seeing it in late time slot syndication back in the late 80's. The wrestling was horrible, the acting amateurish, and the whole aesthetic to the thing was just bush league. Even the skin couldn't keep my attention as I had amassed a sizeable collection of Hustler magazines by that time. The rap intro is groan inducing to say the least. I forgot about the Jackie Stallone connection. I think that was a last gasp attempt to inject some star power into the programming, and that says a lot about where it was heading. Between GLOW reruns and new Duck Dynasty episodes...toss up.

That is pretty much the memory I have of it too. I think I flipped between Headbanger's Ball and G.L.O.W. on saturday nights.

I love the rap. It rivals the Super Bowl Shuffle.
I had no idea who Jackie Stallone was until you mentioned this. She is one wacky bird who is bringing back "Rumpology." The reading of the future through one's butt print. It was big in Babylon, India Greece and Rome.... apparently. I need to get in on this game. I read ladybutts all day anyway and had no idea that this skill could earn me a living. http://www.jacquelinestallone.com/rumps.html

Go camping in Texas.
