I'm no baseball guy but there's something about Rivera. Tremendous end to a tremendous career.

Agreed. I'm not a Yankee fan, but he was something special.

When you think about how long he pitched and how ridiculous his numbers still are it's mind-boggling.

Also, the list of great relievers who had big blow-ups in the post-season and were never the same is pretty long. He just brushed off The Steal, the Steal pt. 2 and Luis Gonzalez and carried on like it was nothing.

Strong and one of a kind.

The thing that I always found most impressive is that every batter he faced knew exactly what was coming -- cutter, middle-in -- and they still couldn't hit it.
