You ever seen a cycling plumber who wrestles with small calves, forearms and neck? Didn't think so.

And the guy is bummed because it happened so close to the xfit gaymes? Jackass. He should have landed on his head and maybe it would have knocked some fucking sense into him.OCG wrote:Ah, here we go.

I just hope he heals-up in time to do The Bataan Death March (Sponsored by HERR DOKTOR'S LEGIT DICK STEROIDS)! I won't refund his entry fee if he can't (of course), but I'm relying on him posting pics of the event on Instagram for publicity. Shooting for a 200% increase in sign-ups the following year!Cave Canem wrote:And the guy is bummed because it happened so close to the xfit gaymes? Jackass. Is this the first time an @fitter has posted a picture of their x-ray to social media?

No, but I like how they keep upping the ante!WildGorillaMan wrote:Is this the first time an @fitter has posted a picture of their x-ray to social media?
Soon it'll be open casket viewings, broken corpses with minimal preservation done to them, clad in Reeboks, knee socks, board shorts... Everybody from the deceased's box taking selfies by him/her body.
After that, Snuff-Film WOD's on YouTube.

If the concept of breaking multiple transverse processes while exercising scares you, we don't want you in our ranks.OCG wrote:Apparently some dude broke the transverse process off of three of his vertebrae doing those "hurdles".

Re: The couch thread
I didn't know this grid thing survived.
But anyway, I thought I once heard, "specialization is for insects".
From the link above;
"Here, for instance, you are a member of a team of 15 and each person does his specialty,” Klokov said in the video. “For example if I were to be on a team, I would do heavy weightlifting and maybe something that I feel strong in, if not, then comes Igor Zaripov and does his gymnastics, and next comes someone else that does something else. That's cool, I like that."

Re: The couch thread
So, it'd like a powerlifting competition where one person benches, one person squats, and one person pulls.
That's kind of retarded.

This shit reminds me of shit we used to do as kids. Just think a game up and go. It was OK when your 9, pretty fucking stupid when your 29.OCG wrote:
So, last year at the OC throwdown, Kevin Ogar broke his back. This year, apparently they really want a repeat of that.

Re: The couch thread
Considering that this thread is what brought me to this place, I now have a mere passing interest in it. I didn't even know the gaymes had begun. Perhaps I'm healed!

Re: The couch thread
Apparently the way it works is a team has to qualify for regionals. Not an individual, a team of 6 - 100. The top 3 men and women's for each event are added together and that's your teams score for that event. Now, it doesn't have to be the same people scoring for each event. So, apparently some people went easy on the first workout to do better on the second and get their team a better score.
Basically, CFHQ/Castro is mad people figured out how to game their shitty system.

From the comments:
Brandon Ecker · Endicott
As part of an affiliate who got a score invalidated, I fell like the public should know that we reached out to HQ on Friday morning via email asking the question and specifically giving a hypothetical example of what exactly happened. We received no response from HQ until Sunday afternoon at 10 PM after our lifters had already done the MCon we felt like we were forced to do this because other gyms in our area specifically in our region and around the world are taking advantage of the same loophole
