Here is the thing, whats it take to open up ANY gym. A golds gym? lots of money. A personal training studio? nothing really, any certificate you want to hold, and some of those are only online tests. So what we are doing is better then what most out there are doing, but that question is never really asked.

We test everyone who makes it to the Games. If you earn a spot to the Games you are tested. We test all the top guys at the Games. If you finish near the top or at the top you are tested. The best in our sport are also tested year round without notice. We taking testing serious and we will continue to do so.

Question: Who do you take tips ideas from for programming?

Answer: Nobody in the community really, I really like to come at with fresh perspectives and ideas. I take most of my inspiration from places other than CrossFit. Other sporting events, other art, theater etc.

What does your personal fitness routine look like? Especially with all the traveling.

I CrossFit. at home and on the road. when I am on the road, i go to hotel gyms and train. Before every open, I run on the treadmill for 20 minutes. And its probably the best time for me to rehearse and go over what I need to say. I laugh when people say do you even lift or do CrossFit. Of course I do.

This shit is gold.
