This is what happens when the sport of football gets as big as it is and the really good players are coddled. I would love to see the whole sport implode. And I am a Pee Wee League football coach. I don't even watch the shit. I tried to watch some last night and made it through approximate 40 seconds of two different games.
Fuck those kids, btw.

Re: Friday Night Lights in Texas
It was always a violent shitty sport, but now it's a violent shitty sport taken over by ghetto thug culture. Football is dying on the vine, and that's just fine by me. Any parent with a brain steers their sons away from that shit what with the rampant concussions and long term damage to the joints and spine. With what we now know, you've got to be a special kind of stupid to let your kid go out there and knock heads with these chimpoid sub-humans. So, the whites have taken the red pill and started leaving this shit behind, but devoid of their civilized influence all that's left are the blacks and their fine track record of lowest common denominator behavior. Rutgers just kicked five of Africa's finest off of their team for assaults, armed robberies, and home invasions. What in the hell is wrong with this country? Oh yeah, I forgot...niggers. Meanwhile, Tim Tebow gets cut by the Eagles. Played his heart out in the pre-season after busting his ass to get back in the game, but his lack of felony convictions and absence of neck tattoos just didn't meet NFL standards. Fuck that game and the spear chucking humanzees that play it. The only thing I hate worse than a Nigger Felon League player, is one of these goddamned UFC sodomites like Anthony Johnson. I swear to god, that nigger looks like fucking Peking Man or some shit. They need to go throw his black ass back into whatever glacier they thawed his prehistoric looking ass out of, or just have him taxidermied and put him on display at the Museum of Natural History.

I work with a fellow who isn't 50 yet who's just had his second cervical what-the-fuck ever and in two weeks he's having his second lumbar what-the-fuck-ever, fusing this with that, reaming out this thing and that. He will never, fucking ever be alright. He'll always walk sideways in pain and will always be waiting for the next fucking surgery that he can't afford. He is a good man taking care of his family and his only fault if you could call it that was being an okay varsity high school football player. If you saw him walking down the street it would break your fucking heart.

Yup. Noted neck tattoo aficionados Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will have places in the game until they decide to hang it up.dead man walking wrote:tim tebow got cut because he's not a good quarterback,Kazuya Mishima wrote:Meanwhile, Tim Tebow gets cut by the Eagles. Re: Friday Night Lights in Texas
Criminal charges filed against both players and the team taking the rest of the season off wouldn't be a bad place to start.

I was reading the comments on the article on Deadspin. Supposedly the ref called someone on John Jay the proverbial N-word, which set off the two hispanic D-backs to retaliate.
Don’t believe everything you think.

Re: Friday Night Lights in Texas
The fact that they are 'looking into the situation' and plan to interview referees, coaches and players to find out what 'really happened' is sickening. Of course, the players are either going to say that they were called "niggers" or "faggots" because that is the only thing that could possibly sway public opinion in their direction but even then, there is no excuse for their actions nor any question what they did.

How do we know they were Hispanic? Are they being named in the news now?nafod wrote:I was reading the comments on the article on Deadspin. Supposedly the ref called someone on John Jay the proverbial N-word, which set off the two hispanic D-backs to retaliate.

I'm thinking even in the San Antonio, Texas area, someone who cared so much about football to be a referee would not use racial epithets on the players.
It's a major fucking hassle to be a referee. I did it for a year, and it was tons of bullshit.

Wonder if their illegals!
UPDATE 9.8.15:
Northside Independent School District Superintendent Brian T. Woods holds news conference (Watch Video)
Two players are under investigation by police, being treated as “assault on school official.”
Assistant Coach suspended after players said he suggested retaliation
Players allege ref used “racial slurs” aimed at players
Official involved in incident said allegations about racial slurs on unfounded and slanderous
UPDATE 9.7.15:
The two players involved in the incident have been suspended indefinitely.
The official, Robert Watts, wants to press charges (ESPN)
Players named: Sophomore Victor Rojas; Senior Michael Moreno (KENS-TV)
Rojas was ejected from the game, but officials mistakenly ejected another player instead of Moreno. Moreno stayed in the game and was called for a personal foul on the next play… for hitting the opposing QB who had taken a knee to run out the clock. (KENS-TV)

They had tossed a pair of players before the incident. It's safe to say this wasn't a well coached or well disciplined team. If a referee did say something of the sort, all players would need to do was walk off the field. However, I find it hard to believe that "he called me a name" is a defense for felony assault.

Re: Friday Night Lights in Texas
Gotta disagree. Every high school sports ref I've met in Texas has basically been a small town cop without the personality. Too stupid to do anything important, still intent on reliving his high school glory days, can only get an erection with the help of exerting power over someone who can't do anything about it, couldn't get anyone to fuck him so he doesn't have a kid to boss around in pee-wee football.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:I'm thinking even in the San Antonio, Texas area, someone who cared so much about football to be a referee would not use racial epithets on the players.

Obviously the secondary coach should never work in athletics again, and the decision to transfer the two players and ban them from attended John Jay games was a good one.
Looks like the head coach really was in the dark about what was going on.
