Another unarmed 17 year old was gunned down like a dog in the streets? I see black lives matter took an interest in this story, but I don't understand why.

The kid was black? I saw something on Facebook about all the outrage on Twitter that they shouldn't have killed a gorilla, they should have let a white child die. Charges of racism and all that. Was it satire? Is everything satire? I don't know what's real anymore.
